On Sunday November 9, 2008 the Newfoundland & Labrador Amateur Bodybuilding Association (NLABBA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held at the Track and Field Complex in Mt Pearl, NL at which time an election was held. The election results are as follows:
President: Mike Newhook
Vice President: Zack Howard
Treasurer/Secretary: Kimberly Puddester
Marketing Rep: Jill Newhook (non-electoral position)
Although Andy Pratt (former President) and Lee Hayward (former Treasurer/Secretary) stepped down as active members of the executive, they both expressed interest to support the new executive and helping out with the organization of future events. Andy and Lee have contributed significantly as active members of the executive over the last few years and proved invaluable to the Association.
The first meeting of the new Executive was held November 18, 2008.
The NLABBA is pleased to announce that the Newfoundland & Labrador Amateur Bodybuilding and Figure competition will take place on November 21, 2009 at the Holy Heart Theatre.
